The Messenger is now available at BN.com (Barnes & Noble) for the Nook ereader. See The Messenger in the B&N store by clicking here. B&N also allows readers to download free samples of The Messenger onto their Nooks — that option is found on the product page right beneath the orange buy button.
Happy reading, and enjoy the Memorial Day weekend. 🙂
I had a great time at the Gaithersburg Book Festival this past weekend, where I signed advanced copies of The Messenger. Those copies went fast — we ran out of books before my designated signing hours were over! I hope everyone who picked up a copy of The Messenger at the festival is enjoying it. Here are some photos from the event…

A few copies of The Messenger at the Lands Atlantic table — by the time I took this picture, these copies were the only ones left. They went fast!

Thank you everyone who came out to the Gaithersburg Book Festival — I really enjoyed meeting the many readers who stopped by the Lands Atlantic table. 🙂
It’s finally here — release day for The Messenger. I’ve been looking forward to this day and am happy to finally be able to share the info on where copies (paperback or digital) of The Messenger are now available.
Sixteen year old Jeilin leaves the ordinary behind when she’s inducted into the king’s service as a horseback riding messenger. She expects a life of adventure and freedom, but those hopes are shattered after being captured by a foreign army.
Given the choice between death and conversion, she swears service to the enemy even though, in her heart, she remains loyal to her kingdom.
As Jeilin’s youthful innocence crumbles, she wonders if the prince will still be fond of her; if she can even find a way to help place him back on his rightful throne.
Full of turmoil and sacrifice, The Messenger is a powerful tale of survival, bravery, and loyalty.
The Messenger is available from Amazon in paperback and as an ebook for your kindle.

The wait is almost over — The Messenger releases tomorrow 5/22. 🙂 Have you seen the video trailer yet?
The Messenger will be available in paperback and ebook formats from major book retailers.
My publisher, Lands Atlantic, just released a book trailer for The Messenger. It’s pretty awesome (of course, I’m highly biased) — the images look like they came right out of the story. It can be watched on YouTube. (See below.) Make sure you have your speakers on when you watch it for full effect!
I just got some good news from my publisher, Lands Atlantic — the first 25 people to come to the Lands Atlantic table during my signing hours (2-5) will receive a free paperback ARC copy of The Messenger. (After those copies run out, paperbacks will be available for purchase.)

Hope to see you there!
I recently created an author page on Facebook. If you give it a ‘like’ you’ll be able to see occasional updates about book news, signings, etc… Click the wax seal button below to access the page — you’ll know you’re in the right place when you see Jeilin staring back at you. 🙂
